Pecos Valley Public Services offers a variety of courses and trainings to the general public. All trainings are provided free of charge at our business location (certain conditions apply), but we gladly accept donations.

Here’s how it works: Select a course you are interested in and register yourself. Once we have a required number of participants, we’ll contact you and send a number of dates. The date selected with the most participants will be set for the course.

All trainings will be conducted by certified and / or experienced educators.

Our courses:

Stop the Bleed is a grassroots national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed encourages bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. No matter how fast professional emergency responders arrive, bystanders will always be first on the scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, therefore it is important to quickly stop the blood loss. Those nearest to someone with life threatening injuries are best positioned to provide first aid.

Course duration: About 90 minutes. No payment required (donations accepted). Participants get official certificate after successful completion of the course.
